Smart Drive Kicks off its annual start on November 21, 2013. Ms. Karen Versuk will be at AI duPont HS to take sign ups during all four lunches.
Students who complete SmartDrive can receive Defensive Driving Credit and be eligible for some very nice prizes. Last year, Natalie Lantz was the top student in Northern New Castle County (in which there were over 4,000 students.) With this she won a $4,000 scholarship to be used for college.
This program is free and must be completed online.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
As PTSA President, it is my privilege to welcome you and your family to the 2013-2014 school year at AI duPont High School. The PTSA Board has been busy planning programs and working closely with Mr. Palladinetti, our principal, and we are excited about what's in store for our school community this year!
Our PTSA meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of every month, with the exception of September and October. We will not conduct any meetings in December or June. PTSA meetings begin at 7:00pm in Room 144, ending at approximately 8:00pm. I encourage you all to attend!
I urge you to be an active part of the exciting year ahead. It is with your support that we are able to do so many great things to enhance the educational experience for our children.
Our first PTSA meeting of the year will be on Tuesday, September 17th, at 7:00pm. Students are also encouraged to attend and take the opportunity to have their voices heard! Please plan to join us!
Jeanne Kasey, PTSA President
