Back To School Night will be held on September 20, 2016. During this event, you will attend each of your child's classes to meet their teachers and find out what they have planned for the year.
The evening will begin with a brief presentation by our principal, Mr. Palladinetti, in the auditorium, followed by a brief time in each class. View the planned schedule here!
Parents and guardians are encouraged to arrive early to obtain a copy of the schedule, school map and other pertinent documents.
A PTSA membership table will be available, along with other Booster organizations that support the school.
Spirit wear items will be on sale at various locations around the building.
If you have not picked up your 9th or 10th grade student's Chromebook yet, you will be able to do so from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. that evening.
The PTSA is an important part of AI duPont high school. The organization is comprised of Parents, Teachers and most importantly Students working as partners to enhance our school community. That is a question many parents ask themselves as their children grow into adulthood. The bottom line is it really depends on the child. My older son (and my daughters) both continued to hang out with me as they went through high school and now in college as well. My younger son, however, is a different story. Vice President: Primary responsibility will be fundraising coordinator (No Bake Bake Sale & AfterProm donations); fill in during president's absence
Secretary: Take minutes at meetings and publish for the next meeting and website.
Website Designer: Our website needs someone with basic Joomla web design skills to update throughout the year
Student Representatives: We are a Parent Teacher Student Association -- we want our students to attend meetings and become involved in our activities!

With the Fall season starting on September 13 with the first home soccer game (JUST AROUND THE CORNER!!), the Tiger Boosters is making an all call for your donation of TIME and ENERGY to man the concession stand. Whether you just have a few hours to spare (I know, wishful thinking for all of us!) or you plan on going to your child's events, consider coming out and supporting the Tiger Boosters by signing up to work at the concession stand. You'll get to meet some new people, put some faces to names you already know and best of all, you'll be supporting your child's school and sports team.

This year's Quarter Auction will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2016 in the A.I. High School Cafeteria. Last year we raised over $2,000 to fund our programs and everyone who came out had a GREAT time!
We are actively looking for volunteers for this event. There are a variety of time slots available: before, during and after the event. If you or your student would like to help, please visit our Sign Up Genius to see the available areas where we need help.
As a volunteer, you will receive ONE PADDLE for FREE to participate in the Quarter Auction so if you are coming with your family or a friend, consider volunteering to get that extra paddle and change to win!
